FULHAM vs MANCHESTER UNITED (1230)
Three wins, three defeats in their last six – what’s going on with Man U? Fulham are in their customary zone and appear as inconsistent as their visitors. Ten Hag’s woes will intensify if they don’t get at the very least a point from this. Away win.

BRENTFORD vs WEST HAM UNITED (1500)
Although a place below us in the table, Brentford surely start as favourites. They’ve ended a wobbly few weeks with two straight victories and look to have regained the winning ways that have so successfully defied expectations in the last two seasons. Which, as you may remember, includes four straight victories over us. The Carabao win over Arsenal, meanwhile, should have given us a welcome shot in the arm and help to improve our recent miserable record of four points from the last six games. Like us, Brentford are good at soaking up pressure and waiting for opportunities to break and score. It’s hard to think of that as a recipe for an entertaining game, but with Kudus and Antonio up front (until the 67th minute when Soucek replaces Antonio), who knows? Draw.

BURNLEY vs CRYSTAL PALACE (1500)
The day’s most boring game, on paper anyway. Draw.

EVERTON vs BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION (1500)
The Seagulls are experiencing a blip with no wins in their last four games while the Toffees have alternated victory and defeat in their last six. If those records continue, both sides will lose. Away win.

MANCHESTER CITY vs BOURNEMOUTH (1500)
City go cherry picking and return to the top for a couple of hours, goal difference suitably boosted. Home win.

SHEFFIELD UNITED vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1500)
The Blades still have just one point to show for their efforts in the first 10 games back in the big time. Wolves have 12, level with Chelsea, and are showing great endeavour under the impressive Gary O’Neil. Expect a lot of huff and puff at Bramall Lane. Away win.

NEWCASTLE UNITED vs ARSENAL (1730)
The other game of the day pits sixth against second. Both sides have won four and lost two of their last six and with home advantage, the Magpies may start as slight favourites. A good game in the offing, you’d think. Draw.


*SUNDAY*

NOTTINGHAM FOREST vs ASTON VILLA (1400)
Forest’s home form has been their salvation of late, but Villa are in a rich vein of form and won’t be done for by relegation fodder. Away win.

LUTON TOWN vs LIVERPOOL (1630)
The Reds return to the top four. Away win.


*MONDAY*

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs CHELSEA (2000)
Spurs started the weekend top of the table, while big-spending Chelsea found themselves in the bottom half. It will be a huge surprise if that status is unchanged at the end of this game. An unhappy return to the Spud Stadium for Poch. Home win.


*CHAMPIONSHIP*
Let’s start with Millwall, down from the verge of the play-off places to 17th. Yuk. Today they host Southampton, now 14 places above Wall and firmly in the play-off places yet just seven points above their hosts. That’s a measure of this division. On Friday, runaway leaders Leicester surrendered their winning run with a surprise home defeat to Leeds. A great chance for second-placed Ipswich to eliminate their five-point deficit with a winning game in hand and take over the division’s leadership. Today the Tractor Boys visit Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham who have also tumbled down the rankings since he took over. Sheffield Wed, QPR and Rotherham still make up the bottom three, with an unhealthy gap of five points having emerged either side of the dotted line. It’s all to play for in the fizzy pop.

I think after the weekend's football Arteta has gone to the top of the list of most despised opposition managers. the self entitled lego-haired twat and his self righteous rant after losing at Newcastle was both irritating as it was funny. Klopp is second at the moment but they are both cunts of the highest order

The way Spurs play reminds me of Liverpool when Klopp took over, problem with that particular style of play is that a) key players will end up getting niggling injuries and b) other coaches (apart from Moyes of course) will suss out a way of counteracting it.

Yeh he comes across as a charismatic fella, says mate a lot, plays a decent brand of football, but irrespective of that, those tactics when down to 10 and then 9 last night were absolute suicide. The ball over the top was on every time and it was only a matter of time. But he’s edgy and said they’d do the same with 5 players (not that it’s even possible).

Manuel, it’s a combination of both things. Decent football and refreshing interviews. It might all change with the pressure of the season and injuries of course, but I can’t help but be envious when watching them. They were brilliant for the first 20/25 mins last night. A total contrast from what we see, despite having the players to do it.

At the moment he reminds me of a better version of Harry Redknapp. I still want them to get relegated. And go out of business due to heavy debt.

Pagey/fraser - I would actually beg to differ. I think the appreciation of him stems from him not being the usual cliched, biased, PL manager and who is from a different background. It's a nice change to not know what a manager is going to say when asked questions, instead of just spouting the usual soundbites. I'm not sure why anyone, apart from Spurs fans, would care much about what type of football Spurs are playin. Yes, we all like the beautiful game, but I think it's his personality, rather than how he sets his teams up, that is getting him plenty of good press, so far.

I’d say it’s more an appreciation for decent football, regardless of who the team is. Try not to take it personal. Spurs are still cunts. Just cunts that have a manager who likes to play decent football. Which is clear for all to see.

Apart from that salmon leap when he was trying to pretend that Mudryk had done him.
Still say VAR should intervene there. Send the ref to the screen and send him off for blatant play acting.
That would drive it out of the game in a matter of weeks

Obviously they lost 4-1 with a couple of garbage goals at the end but Tottenham were right in the game with 9 men and with the Dier 'goal', the scuffed Son shot and where Bentancur(?) mistimed that headed attempt almost on the line could easily have finished 2-2.
As said contrast Fat Ange's approach even with 9 men to most managers (ie Moyes) who would have gone to 4-4-0 and been under constant bombardment with no scoring outlet.

Probably the perfect Tottenham game
Well beaten, 2 reds , a centre half out for weeks and their best player hobbles off.
Nothing personal but hopefully Maddison's injury is nothing trivial

As much as i don't like Spurs, i do like Big Ange! Compare his post-match interview to someone like Arteta after this weekend's games and its refreshing and honest, no blaming the ref for this or that or getting all angry and upset about decisions not going his team way, shows the fella has decency, more than can be said for the Sulky and bitter Spaniard.
